Well, it's been a while since I've posted anything. Since I'm really too tired tonight to post anything of great quality, I'll just display the illustration I made for my bosses in honor of National Bosses Day (psst: it's tomorrow, in case anyone wants to do a little something for their boss).

Maybe I'll get a raise!

*rolls eyes*

Yeah right.

lol. I know that feeling.  I'll avoid posting for days, hoping that I'll think of something really witty to say or because I'm just too busy/tired to sit down and type. It's weird... but anyhoo-

Your drawing 'tis lovery! How long did it take you to do this? What media did you use?

I hope you get a raise and have a great week therein.  Talk to you again soon!

That's great!

It was fun seeing you the other night.  Hope your kitty is satisfied with its present.  Mystic was so excited she wouldn't stop chewing the bone and it kept Grandma and me awake!

I didn't know you were allergic to metal! Wow. I would probably just about pass out from the irony of it all if I ended up getting my ears pierced and found out I was allergic to metal.  That'd be horrible.  Are you allergic to all the metals or just the cheaper ones? I know my sister is suspected to be allergic to... nickel, I believe, so we usually get her earrings that are made of as much silver as possible.  Those don't seem to bother her as much, except for the weight of course.

I didn't know you were a Lemony Snickett fan either!  Hardly anyone around here reads those, as far as I can tell at least. We see plenty of Harry Potter and Eragon books being carried around but little to no Series of Unfortunate Events.   Of course, I have to admit that I haven't read them at all. lol.  What makes them good?  The style? The story? All of it?

Argh, you're actually, seriously tempting me to do just what you suggested for my fantasy story in your last comment.  *ponders*  I think I might... but under protected posting so only the writers I trust to be constructive critics can see the chapters.  You'd be on that list of course, since you've read a lot of fantasy books, been exposed to the better and worse of the fantasy writers, and written that beautiful Avatar story I finally started reading the other day.  Have you ever read this book called "Worlds of Wonder?" I checked it out from the library on a whim and have avoided letting go of it ever since. It's that good.  The author doesn't talk down to the readers, nor does he talk so far above their heads that you can't understand what he's talking about.  Plus, he's a well-respected fantasy/sci-fi author himself, so I feel like I can take what he's saying seriously.

Oh! You asked me about the FMA icons. Um, I usually get them from a wide spread, random search that isn't even always meant to pick up anything Fullmetal. A few sites really stand out though; they're http://www.xanga.com/FullMetal_Alchemist_fan3, http://www.xanga.com/MoonlitxShadowxDesigns, and http://www.xanga.com/FMA_icons2.  All of those are great.  In fact, I think I may just put up a protected post that only you can see with the FMA icons I have, because I didn't get all of them from the afore-mentioned sites.  I would email them to you but I don't think gmail will let me send that many pictures. Oh,well.   I'll see what I can put up for you.  Afterall, you introduced us to this beautiful, beautiful show we've become so attached to.

Thank you for the comment, as usual!  Have you started on your Halloween pumpkin yet? I'd love to see some pictures of them. We haven't really ever seen a pumpkin with a Christian message but it sounds fascinating!  Please, please, please show us some pictures? lol.

Talk to you again soon, Taurewyn!

P.S. Lol! I'm glad you liked the "Usually, fantasy authors just plop something out in front of the reader and say, "here you go. Believe it. What you mean, 'why?'  I don't need to explain myself to you. Just believe it!"  I was wondering if anyone was going to notice that, fuss about it, anything.  You noticed it though! Yayness.  Did your ex really write like that? I'm so sorry.  When are fantasy writers going to get that yeah, this fantasy world they've created may be different than our world but it still has rules.  Get creative but not unrealistic.  If I see one more story where someone brings back the hero by crying on him, I may cry out of frustration, myself. lol.   I'm glad I could make you laugh out loud!
